I agree, but IMO It’s not always about taking on too many tasks. No matter how busy your life is, you can *always* find 5 or 10 mins to do something. It really annoys me when I ask someone for a small favor that would take only 5 mins and they keep saying they don’t have time and end up doing it 3 weeks later. “I don’t have time” is really a slap in the face. It essentially means “I don’t feel like it. I’d rather do some pointless, meaningless stuff than do you a favor.”
When a friend asks me for a favor, I prioritize it over whatever else I’d be doing when not doing something critical. Even when we’re super busy, we all somehow find the time to do stuff like read blogs, post on forums, watch youtube vids, TV, play games, talk on the phone, etc. No one spends 16+ hours a day doing only critical stuff.
