Hi François. You offer two very good references. In fact, some of the questions used in the questionnaire we have been developing are inspired by those 2 sources. Our intend is to establish the Agile maturity of the organization throughout their transition – more on that in an upcoming post.

As for the dimensions, many are closely related while others are more distinct since my perspective was that of the “managers and leaders” (as opposed to the team). For example,

teamwork = collaboration
requirements = processes and tools
knowledge creation = continuous improvement
collaborating = collaboration

etc.

Hi Martin, these are great questions!

I am wondering how you would contrast this questionnaire with other ones.

For example, Mike Cohn’s Comparative Agility (http://comparativeagility.com/overview), defines these 7 dimensions:
- teamwork
- requirements
- planning
- technical practices
- quality
- culture
- knowledge creation
And James Shore’s Agile Quiz (http://www.abetterteam.org) uses 5 sections:
- thinking
- collaborating
- releasing
- planning
- developing
