This Blog’s Elevator Pitch

Status quo is over – the days of Archaic Organizations are counted. This blog discusses new leadership paradigms and innovative organizational structures with the intend of improving teams’ performance and people’s quality of life at the office.

Why this Blog?

Throughout my professional career and in my personal life, I question popular beliefs, common wisdom and wonder about the status quo. With a pragmatic perspective and an analytical mind, I look for ways to improve the world around me.

We spend more than 35% of our waking hours working. While most organizations rely on the same management approach, processes, and tools that have been used for decades, I believe there are better ways of doing things.

Originally called Human DevelopmentCandid observations on collaboration and intelligence in a business context“, I later changed the perspective to Analytical-MindOffering new paradigms to improve performance and quality of life at work” to present opportunities to change the status quo in order to improve people’s life at the office while increasing performance.

The Professional Side

Over the years and currently as Vice-President, Consulting Services at Pyxis Technologies, I have successfully participated in several projects with companies from the pharmaceutical, retail, financial, and manufacturing sectors. I hold a Master’s degree in management sciences and a Bachelor of Business Administration from HEC Montreal.

As an effective leader and change agent oriented towards achieving sustaining results, I have accumulated nearly 20 years of experience in the following areas:

  • Team leadership and performance management;
  • Professional development coaching;
  • Organizational development and business processes re-engineering;
  • Management of custom software solutions project teams;
  • Implementation of business intelligence solutions and key performance indicators (KPI);
  • Setting and monitoring corporate objectives;
  • Customer relations, sales and marketing.
